Spread Any News to all your Orkut Friends using ‘ORKUT PROMOTE’

Orkut, a member of Google family, is one of the largest social networking website in India and it is improving like anything. Last week Orkut announced a new feature through their blog called ‘Orkut Promote‘ which allows you to create announcements and automatically send them to all of your orkut friends with a single click!

Following are some of the feature of this new add-on by orkut:

• You can create promotions using text, photos from your orkut albums, and your original YouTube videos.
• It has a built-in features ‘spread‘ and ‘trash‘ that let you pass on the promotions you like to all of your friends and delete the ones you don’t so that they never show up for you again.
• It also includes a tool called ‘my promotions‘ that shows you how many users have viewed, clicked on, or deleted your promotions, as well as how far they’ve spread.
• You can also stop or delete a promotion that you’ve created at any time

Overall it seems to be a good tool especially if we are a blogger or webmaster. Because getting a tool to announce and promote anything related to our sites to our friends will hopefully help us to promote it efficiently!

If you haven’t seen ‘promote‘ feature in your profile yet, wait for some days. They are currently in the process of rolling it out to all of the users around the world.
