Little things or quantities often make a large things or great quantity. The ocean actually is formed of a great number of little drops of water. Great sand dunes are formed from tiny grains of sand. If we save a little amount of money everyday it will become a huge sum in course of time. In short, all great or huge things are formed out of tiny things.
This can happen in other way also. If we lose something little by little, it will become a great loss to us in due course. If we borrow money little by little, we will find ourselves in great debts after some time. Therefore little things are in no way to be neglected. They can often comprise to form something huge.
Great ice-bergs are actually formed out of little pieces of ice. These ice-bergs can often wreck, and sink a big ship if they crash into it. If we take a handful of snow during the winter season and let it roll down a big slope, by the time it reaches the foot of the slope, the little ball which we made out of a handful of snow will have become a bigger one more than the size of our head.
If we patiently and continuously do something even though little by little, we will be able to make something considerably big in due course of time. Likewise, we should never neglect our losses even if they seem so little, for if we continue to lose, soon we may find ourselves suffering from great losses.
I love this one…how true. Something that you think is little can sit there and nag at you and keep nagging until you can’t stand it anymore. That little nagging thing will usually end up being something big if you don’t take care of it. Love the post. Keep up the great and thoughtful proverbs.
